This is the oldest golf course on Royal Deeside.  18 well manicured holes to test you.  Good website with an online booking system.

Ballater 18 hole golf course has a wonderful back drop of the surrounding hills in the Heart of Royal Deeside.

Tarland course is a gem with 9 holes and views of Morven.  It is only 3 miles from the cottage.

Braemar Golf Club boasts the highest 18 hole course in Scotland sitting at around 1200 feet above sea level.  It is relatively short measuring 4935 yards

off the medal tees.
